SO vis-à-vis our previous post — twitter has confirmed that Matt and Karen are in fact both in NYC right now and were at the same party last night!! We’ll keep you updated if we find out more but KAREN AND THE BABES ARE ALL IN THE SAME CITY, GUYS. FINALLY. EVERYONE SCREAM. [but don’t spam-tweet karen or arthur about it. obvs. y’all know this.]

If you’re looking for ideas on what to ask Matt that is Karen related and appropriate for everybody here’s a little list
We got a few messages last night asking us to put this together in case some of you would like to ask Matt something Karen in the upcoming Q&A related but are lacking ideas so here’s a bunch of suggestions from us (and to be perfectly clear you DON’T have to ask any of these and we do not want to censor or control any of you since we love you all. Those anons gave us a scare last night.)
- Karen recently mentioned that you kept complaining when you had to carry her because she was too heavy for you. What’s your side of the story? Did you drop her at all? Did she sulk about it afterwards?
- What is the one thing you miss the most about working with Karen (and Arthur)?
- What was your first impression of Karen, Arthur and Jenna when you met all of them in the audition room?
- If you had a chance to work with Karen (and Arthur) again what kind of project would you like it to be?
- Do you still talk to Karen and Arthur and how are they liking Jenna?

I’m sure he won’t actually answer them but imagine how awkward it could be just for him to SEE THEM. SO GUYS, PLEASE I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH:
- Do NOT ask Matt if he’s secretly dating Karen, if he’s in love with Karen, just basically ANYTHING implying ANYTHING about his relationship with Karen other than friendship.
- Absolutely do NOT mention the words ‘secretly married’, ‘smillan’, ‘I ship you with Karen’ or anything else that belongs in fandom and has no business reaching Matt.
- If you WANT to ask something Karen or Karen and the Babes related, by all means do so but REALLY think about your questions and make sure it is respectful and doesn’t cross any lines. If you want, you can send us the question you want to send first and we’ll tell you if it is appropriate or if you should phrase it some other way.
- Basically have fun with this BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT FANDOM AND SHIPPING IS VERY VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE REAL THING AND THE LAST THING WE WANT IS MAKING MATT UNCOMFORTABLE OR EMBARRASSING OURSELVES.

Just a reminder because people keep forgetting
And I’m really not in the mood to search on our shipping tags and read posts about how some individuals want to kill us. Yep, you read correctly. Here are the facts:
Everybody over here loves Arthur just as much as we love Matt and Karen. We appreciate the trio’s relationship a great deal and admire each one of them individually as much as we love them together. Do we joke sometimes about Arthur being their dad after it’s been said three different times from the cast themselves that he acts like it (during DWUK, Comic Con 2012 and one of Karen’s interviews. If anyone wants links send us a message)? Yes we do. You don’t have to like it but you also can’t cyberbully us, tag your hate in our ship tags and actually post things about threatening to kill us. Seriously?
As for the matter in hand, someone wrote a rather stupid thing in Arthur’s wikipedia page about how he’s the third wheel in Matt and Karen’s relationship. First of all, I think we will all agree that that was a rather stupid thing to write. However you do NOT know it was even a tumblr user let alone a Matt/Karen shipper and therefore you do not even have evidence or the right in the least bit to unleash hate on all of us. 99,5 % of us are a quiet peaceful fandom and we stay in our tags so let us be.
Also, I can not stress this enough. Just because ONE person does something stupid it does NOT give you the right to blame an entire fandom. We do not spend our time looking all around the internet for anyone who happens to ship the same thing as us and misbehaves and we are NOT responsible for him. We have our rules and the majority of us follow them all the time. I understand if rl shipping or this particular ship in general isn’t your cup of tea but you can NOT post killing threats in our tags just because one stupid person who might not even belong in the matt/karen tumblr shipping fandom wrote something even stupider in another site.
That’s all we’re going to say in this matter and we’re never going to talk about it again. Now someone please go make something pretty to make our tags beautiful again.
This goes out to anyone who enjoys writing just as much as he enjoys reading.

Just a friendly reminder that everybody here completely adores Jenna and we are beyond excited for her era to begin :) Matt seems to think highly of her and how hard she’s trying, Karen obviously likes her a lot since they text regularly and team up, and if she wasn’t amazing, she wouldn’t be the next companion to a legendary show. So yeah yay for Jenna and all we feel about her is love and fuzziness.

So I didn’t get tickets to the screening originally but I was there in the stand-by ticket line, which was let in until after Matt & Karen arrived. I’d just like to say that them laughing and turning to each other while the paparazzi takes photos is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. And his hand is on her waist - ALL THE TIME. I couldn’t see much because I was behind this big silver pillar-thing but I’ll go through my videos and my mom’s videos & pictures tomorrow.
Anyway, so then I got into the screening and the Smillan happened just right away. Matt, Karen and Caroline came out before the episode to say hello/introduce/etc and Caroline went to sit next to Matt and Karen politely spoke up about namecard placement and then Caroline and Karen did a little dance of “Oh it doesn’t matter” “Go ahead” etc (something like that) and then she sat down next to Matt. It was cute, and I was thrilled that it wouldn’t another Q&A with someone in between them.
Then the episode and then the Q&A.
So much secretly marriedness. The zipping up of her dress happened - they were “disgusted” by him having to zip up her dress because he was the only one in the room. GETTING DRESSED TOGETHER, HM?
At one point in the Q&A he also mentioned how they had formed a relationship and such, which was innocent enough but I thought it was interesting that he said relationship and not friendship but I’m probably reading into things.
Then Macbeth occurred (I swear, the continuity of these two) and Karen started running around the theater.
Continuing on with this ridiculously long message, Karen was asked how it was kissing Arthur Darvill and Matt was just extremely interested in her answer and had this face on and it was very great, and then when her answer started to wind down, he prodded with “So yes or no” or something along those lines and his face. I can’t wait for you guys to see it when the nerdist releases it (I can also confirmed it was filmed by an HQ camera. I was sitting a couple rows behind the camera man).
There was another “I can answer this for you moment” (CONTINUITY) and more synchronized movements. They mentioned how they had the same agent and at one point they were just like chatting to each other. Karen’s body and legs was facing towards Matt/Chris the entire time and at a couple points Matt’s body and legs were facing Karen’s too. THERE WAS A LOT OF STARING. Also Karen seemed to be happy to see Matt’s mom.
So that was my extremely long message to the bubble about my night. I’m pretty sure it’s all out of order and stuff cause it was from memory. I’ll try to upload pictures/videos tomorrow because I’m exhausted. :)
